Want to go canoeing?

I have rescheduled our annual summer canoe trip on Mad River for 11:30 am on

Friday, August 13^th.

We will again be using BIRCH BARK CANOE LIVERY located at 1455 River Road Urbana, Ohio. (937-652-2663)

Cost for a scenic two-hour trip down one of Ohio’s clearest & coldest rivers is $42 per 2-man canoe ($21 a person) and $31 per Kayak.

This outing will take place on a weekday to beat the weekend crowds. Individuals who are employed need to make proper arrangements with their employers.

 

Individuals should also bring sunscreen, water and lunch money as we will stop on the way home in Urbana. $10 should be plenty!

Anyone wanting to attend will need a family, friend or staff member willing to canoe.

Everyone will be required to wear life jackets and be prepared to get wet.

Transportation to Birch Bark will be available-van leaves Fairhaven at 10:30am.
