NAMI Franklin County Resources

WHAT IS NAMI?

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. We are comprised of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work in communities across the country to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need. NAMI relies on memberships, gifts and contributions to support our important work of education, support and advocacy.

The NAMI CGM MISSION

“To improve the quality of life, to ensure respect and dignity for persons in Clark, Greene and Madison Counties living with mental illness and to support their families.

Their NAMI Basics is TBD for the dates indicated below. They may want or need to do it in-person. Many programs are adaptable virtually. They do not offer this program, though they would like to do so. NAMI needs a parent with lived experience to be trained and that person has not come to them.
