CEDAR BOG NATURE PRESERVE

Cedar Bog: a remnant of the Glacial Age.

The Bog located near Urbana, Ohio is a haven for scores of plant and animal species that were common immediately following the Ice Age. Most of these species are now considered rare, threatened or endangered.  Today visitors take in the beauty of Cedar Bog through tours using a wheelchair accessible wooden boardwalk.

As Spring is here I decided to pick a tour date to visit the Bog and all its wonders.  Our self-guided tour is set for Thursday, May 20^th @ 10:00 am.  The tour should last approximately 1.5-2 hours.  Cost of a tour is $3.00 per individual/student & $4.00 per adult chaperone.

Individuals who drive are welcome to leave on their own accord. Cedar Bog is located at the following address: 980 Woodburn Rd, Urbana, OH 43078

*Transportation may be available upon request to individuals which have been vaccinated.
